Mission, Vision, and Core Values
I am proud to be in the service of others and happy to run a purpose-driven company, that makes a positive impact on sports bettors lives all over the World. I am excited to share the purpose of this site, mission, vision, and core values with you as a commitment.
Mission: Turn followers into successful bettors
My mission is to help sports bettors to understand betting, start using statistics, and start winning on their own without following other people’s picks.
Vision
A vision is a direction and something I want to achieve. Underdogchance is a fair and trusted ecosystem that helps sports bettors all over the World. Underdogchance motivates its community members to take action toward achieving their goals by providing valuable content, opportunities, and training experiences. Underdogchance also connects with other sports betting experts and useful resources.
Core Values
Don’t sell unrealistic dreams
Being nice is overrated. Be Kind. Be Fair. Be Honest.
Support bettors and members, who show interest in learning and work hard.
Following picks doesn’t work. Paying picks is even worse.
The numbers and the models are the heart of betting.
Focus on the bettor. Serve and motivate. Push what works, not what sounds easy and good.
Always improve, upgrade, and create value.
What is the purpose of this site and why I am doing this?
The question is always the same – “How to win at sports betting”. The problem is that the search for the answer is very narrow and most people look only for picks. Maybe you are one of them. And if you read this, there is a big chance that looking for picks, following picks, or even paying for picks didn’t work.
Let me tell you that picks alone are not enough. In fact, searching for sports betting picks is not an optimal way how to win in sports betting.
There is a nice joke about two girls having a conversation:
” WOW, you look so fit, how did you lose weight?”
“I eat healthy food, I hired personal trainer, I train hard 5 times per week, I run every morning, I have a good sleep I used Anti-Cellulite cream, I drink enough water, I measure my weight every day and I walk every day on fresh air
“tell me more about this cream” :-)
And this is exactly what is happening in the sports betting world. Picks are the cream in our case and most bettors simply ignore the fact, that professional sports bettors who make money and live from sports betting must do much more than just focusing on the picks.
In a dynamic betting world, where odds move quickly, following is almost not possible anymore.
This is why we are looking for the most optimal way how to win at sports betting.
It is a combination of many things, which must be mastered if we really want to benefit from sports betting.
Most betting sites are focusing on how to create followers. But following never really worked and most bettors are very disappointed at the end.
This is why I decided to focus on how to help people to become independent and successful sports bettors, instead of selling false dreams and creating new followers.
This includes understanding the market, personal development, creating and using betting models and statistics,…
My Personal Ethics Statement in Sports Betting
My life philosophy has a big impact also on sports betting and everything I do. I am a non-typical sports bettor. Not impressed with Casinos, Big Cities, and all kind of flashy things. I love completely different things – I love nature, quiet places,… I love reading Eckhart Tolle, Michael Singer,… I meditate and I also try to stay within the borders of my ethical values.
Sports betting is a market, where unfortunately someone must lose. If we go really deep with the topic, this is not something that will fix the World’s problems. Like many other things such as social media, video games, etc…
- Is it ethical for bookmakers to share picks, while at the same time, they know they are useless, and that most people have no chance?
- Is it ethical to write articles for bookmakers, where you know from the start, that the main goal is high SEO ranking, bringing more players who will lose?
- Is it ethical to share picks (or sell picks), where you know that it will not work in most cases and where the bettor on the other side has no discipline, strategy, or knowledge to follow?
- Is it ethical to build betting communities and share “free” information and behind is the strategy from bookmakers and affiliate links?
- Is it ethical to attack and judge other sports bettors on social media, while at the same time we are not saving the World?
- Is it ethical for bookmakers to promote bonuses with aggressive marketing, where they know that 98% of all bettors have no chance?
I am not here to judge or even tell what is wrong or right because from the start betting world exists only because 98% of all bettors lose. And here we lose the game against ethics from the start.
But I have a personal line, what is acceptable and what is not acceptable anymore and I feel that it is my responsibility to share what are my views on this. Note that those are my personal beliefs and I don’t want to force my beliefs on you.
The most valuable work I can do comes from focusing on priorities, providing valuable information and tools, and the goal is to help bettors who are committed to taking a step forward.
Every sports bettor, bookmaker, betting portal, forum, blog writer or any other participant in the sports betting World defines where is that line.
I want to share my personal ethics statements, views, and how these sites operate.
- 98% of everything is FREE – Most of the content on my site is FREE. I want to provide content that is valuable to any sports bettor.
- It is not ethical to share picks without previously estimating your winning percentages (betting models). Picks should be always based on betting models and betting projections (independently from bookmakers estimated odds)
- Picks are not enough. We must share a bigger picture about how to become successful in betting (understanding the market, betting models and statistics, personal development, investments,…)
- I don’t sell picks – I don’t sell picks. My betting philosophy is against selling picks. But I don’t judge people who sell picks, because this is how the market works, and most bettors will always look for picks.
- Why I share picks and why they are FREE – the goal of sharing picks is to attract bettors to come to my site. Most bettors will always look for picks and some % of them will see the true value of my message and how they can change their betting life. All my picks are based on betting models, shared free, and with detailed results.
- Why I share some bookmakers links – By sharing some affiliate bookmakers links, I can earn small commissions at no extra cost to you (!). This helps me run this site and providing a lot of FREE content. If you’ve signed up from my links before, thank you very much! I greatly appreciate your support! Most bettors in the World are just recreational bettors, who try luck and simply want to have fun. Many of them openly told me this. They know they will lose some money in the long run, they can afford this for fun purposes, they also don’t expect anything, but they have great fun. Most of them will never go deep with sports betting topics, but they are looking for the betting site, where they can bet and where they are not affraid that they will not be paid if they win. Bookmakers and sportsbooks exist only because players lose, many of them will ban if you win a lot, we know that. But there are some key factors in how I choose these bookmakers. They are trusted, they will pay you if you win and they offer competitive odds. I recommend them because they are genuinely helpful and useful, not because of the small commissions I may receive. Please don’t bet on these bookmakers unless you believe they will help you achieve your goals.
- Why I sell Betting Course – I passionately believe that this is the most optimal way how to win in Sports Betting. Following picks is not the most optimal way and it will not work for most people in the World. I see great results from all members, who joined the course and who put some effort to learn and practice. Learning should be voluntary. For the small price, I share the most important things about betting and how I win at betting. Including my private betting models to download.
- Why free training – Free training is a great way to start because these are the first steps into successful betting, simple betting models, and betting spreadsheets. Too many bettors are just guessing and there is another way. I will show you the other side.
